Hey everybody! Halloween - time for spooky things! In collaboration with Wolfram the Regulator (https://www.instagram.com/wolframtheregulator/) I illustrated the miniature. Here is a brief story behind the illustration from Wolfram:
Ulceros and the VIIth Host: A parasitic warp entity currently feasting on the psykic potential of its seventh host, Ulceros has been with the warband for millennia. It functions as a punishment for astartes who showed any degree of free will resulting in disobedience to the Magos Biologis. Like a battery, the host fuels the captured entity whose screams strengthen the resolve, and obedience, of surrounding brothers. Mortals who are not attuned to its psykic frequencies will feel themselves beset by dread and unease. This mental weakening of outsiders can begin to manifest unsettling physical side effects as they get closer to the source. Nausea, fatigue, confusion, vomiting, diarrhea, and even seizures have been witnessed in attempts to destroy it. This fiend has been sighted on the Carrion Mercatus using its tentacles to transport refuse and limbs ready for transplantation. As the parasite cycles through new hosts, each one leaves a fragment of their consciousness behind in it, a final echo of all they were before being controlled by their festering ulcer.
